Pilates is a gentle form of exercise suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It's low impact so suitable during pregnancy or if you are returning to exercise after having a baby. Regular classes will allow you to exercise safely while working on your core strength, mobility and posture. Pilates is also excellent for relieving stress and tension.
Here at well & good we currently offer mat-based pilates, including pregnancy and postnatal sessions (details below). If you are new to pilates, our experienced teachers would be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding where to begin.
Pilates can provide great results for pregnant and postnatal women with back pain, Diastasis Recti (tummy muscle separation), pelvic pain, pelvic floor issues and the general aches and pains associated with this period of your life! It's also an opportunity to meet other lovely new Mums in the area.
The Pilates method is precise and hands on, so group classes are kept small (a max of 6 for pregnancy and post natal) to ensure I can give full attention to the comfort and safety of clients.
